| Trip report | Our first trip of the new year greeted us with perfect weather conditions which rewarded us with a good days catch. We headed north for catches of 1 flathead, 23 leatherjackets, 11 morwies, 3 pigfish, 5 snappers, 26 sweeps, 3 nannygai, 17 mackerel, 1 girnard, 1 maori wrasse, and 3 sgt baker.
