Headed out to the islands where the previous day the Aquila had a good day fishing. We weren't disappointed as by 8:00am we had 26 flathead on board. Day's fishing resulted in catches of 4 leatherjacket, 5 morwies, 1 pigfish, 61 flathead, 1 snapper, and numerous 5 pointers. Biggest fish 1.16kg morwie caught by P Keough.
We had many new members joining MFC in the last few months, I would like to welcome Miroslaw Wawrzyniak, Delton Keepa, Drago Mrljak, Glen Presbury, Gregory Presbury, Giulio Nurchis, Les Stewart, Sean Smith, Aden Smith who is a junior angler, Simon Gayler, Sammy Fou, Cem Ismen, Ross La Scala, Tim Erdoganli, Semil Supuk, and Allen Supuk who is our other new junior angler.
Fished out in the 60's for catches of 26 leatherjacket, 5 morwies, 6 tiger, 2 snapper, 9 gurnard, and 1 trevally. Biggest fish was a 1.10 kg snapper caught by B Razmovski.
Had a good day, the weather was not the best and we had a slow drift all day. Biggest fish was a 1.37 morwong caught by P Anatasi.
Fished out wide in the 60's for some good results. Catches of 101 leatherjacket, 1 hussar, 18 morwies, and 41 tigers. Biggest fish caught by N Samson 1.76 kg tiger.
