This year's AGM will be held on 20 July 2011, to be eligible to vote at the AGM you must be a current member of both Mounties and the Fishing Club.
I will be coming to the meeting at 7pm to process the fishing club membership renewal. The currency of Mounties membership will be verified at the renewal time.
Please make sure you are a financial member of the mother club on the AGM night.

New points for leatherjacket
The Fishing Club committee has decided leatherjacket will be reduced to 5 points per kilogram, this new point score will be effective from the next competition season commencing July 2011.
The decision was made due to a plague of leatherjacket in Kiama over the last years which allowed members fishing out of this location to catch plentiful of this species and hence accumulate a points quicker than those fishing out of Wollongong.
The committee believes this decision will helps equalise the overall points for those who fish out of Wollongong and Kiama.
The score sheet will be updated and introduced in July to reflect this new change.

Fished out wide for some good results. 134 leatherjacket, 5 morwies, 2 piggies, 1 flathead. Biggest fish for the day 0.90kg leatherjacket caught by Riffet Hadzic.

9 fishos on board, weather OK for the 60's, for some good catches. all enjoyed the trip. 153 leatherjacket, 3 morwies, 2 flatties, 2 snappers, and a few mother-in-laws. Biggest fish 1.25kg leatherjacket by P Young. Great improvment by Paul Burkhardt.
Interclub fishing competition 30 April 2011
The team from Bankstown Sports Fishing did not show up on the day.
Mounties team fished up to 40 fathoms for a total catch of 7 morwie, 2 piggies, 1 snapper, 1 groper, and 5 leatherjacket. Biggest fish was a morwong of 1.65kg by Peter Anastasi, trailing just by 20 grams by Vince Canterella's morwong of 1.63kg.
The Mounties team scored a total of 229.74 points.

Fished off Stanwell, good drift. 8 fishos resulted in a day's catch of 7 leatherjacket, 1 morwie, 3 pigfish, 10 flathead, 7 snapper & numerous 5 pointers. Biggest fish of the day 1.36kg morwie caught by Ivan Mauro.

Fished out in the 60's for a great day catches of 160 leatherjacket, 1 hussar, 6 morwies, 5 tigers, 35 good size nannigais, 4 good snapper. Biggest fish shared by R Karlo & j Pietak 0.89kg snapper & 0.89kg leatherjacket
